Bug day in Surrey

Macro Photography Workshop, with Emma Healey of Wildlife Worldwide at Sheeplease Nature Reserve in Surrey.

“Taking a closer perspective on the flora and fauna of the south of England, we discover fascinating foliage, insects and fungi, whilst learning new techniques and creative processes in macro photography.”

I’m still at the stage of being pleased to get anything in focus, but now need to pay more attention to composition and background. Still in awe of the amazing stuff that appears on my Instagram feed.

Suprised by how many types of bug could be found in a single stretch of hedge, and how quickly the day passed while we tried to photograph them all.
