This is yet a different caterpillar. After the brown-tail moth, and the ermine moth, this is the yellow-tail moth larvae (Euproctis similis). Found right at the end at the bottom of the hill, on a dogwood bush.

The tree outside the pub was a Whitebeam (sorbus aria), and this was its flower
On Watlington Hill, there were lots of yellow flowers – Common Rockrose (Helianthemum nummularium). Look like buttercups (there were some up there also). Which is which…..
This second one is the Meadow Buttercup (Ranunculus acris)
