OK, the photo above was not taken today, but earlier in the week near Nuffield. Not too many trees with colour today, so added this, and more at the end.
Looking back to Churn Hill
Towards Chilton
Several Down
From the path roubnd Chilton, Wittenham Clumps and maybe a Walnut tree
Lunch on the railway bridge between Chilton and Upton. Earlier in the year the ivy was buzzing with insect life. Now just a few flies.
More of autumn colours from my walk earlier in the week.
And there was some great porcelain fungus, Oudemansiella mucida, on a dead tree.

Nice photos from today and Autumn photos from Monday were great!
Lovely photos, David. Beautiful colours.
As always – superb photos. Loved the Autumn colours, especially as we’ve been driving around enjoying them up north, as since her op it’s the first time Barbara has been able to see them with any clarity for many years. Also the long distance view of The Clumps – still much missed.
