Photos from walk on Thursday 5th May from Gallowstree Common to Satwell & Highmoor

I count 64 rings, so felled when younger than most of us.  It was on the edge of Coldmoor Wood, on the path down into Satwell, so east of Kingwood Common, but maybe also planted/regenerated after the war, as described by David in his coffee time talk: “Short history of Kingwood Common”.  [more about Kingwood Common, and even more about all the Common Lands in the Nettlebed area]
