Photos from walk on 24 July from Stoke Row

First “walk” since April. Good to have lots of butterflies and insects to spot. Been on a few wildlife photography holidays and breaks. Follow the links at the bottom, or check the full index of all posts.

English Farm looks like a well mantaned going concern, but this view from the back with an old water pump and a dodgy roof may not give the right impression

Stock Row Farm, however, is definitely dilapidated

We think these are young longhorns. A strangely painted look to them

Towards the end, Cox’s Lane

You’ll have to look in the gallery for the insects. Highlights for me were the Red Spotted Parasite Flies and the Pearl Veneer Moth. Good spots!

Lovely photos, as ever, David. From grasshoppers to wet teeshirts! Thank you. Very much looking forward to walking again.
